Eco Log 554B is a small but efficient forwader which makes it the perfect forwarder for thinning operations.
The Eco Log 554B Cab is spacious and comfortable and provides excellent viewing for the operator. The controls are ergonomically designed and easy to reach. The Cab has tinted polycarbonate windows for maximum security and is approved according to ROPS/OPS/FOPS.
Ergonomically designed seat combined with an efficient ACC and CD player further enhances operator comfort. All of the Forwarders actions are executed with easy-to-control mini levers.
The IQAN Control System constantly makes sure that the operator has full control of all machine movements and functions.
Hydrostatic-mechanic transmission. Distribution of power between front and rear axles. Off-road driving, smooth start without dropping of engine revolutions
Bogie axles with portal type bogie beams. Similar axles front and rear. Power transmission through portal gears in the bogie beams. Hydraulically operated mechanical differential lock both front and rear. Disconnection of the rear axle possible. The design gives Eco Log 554B the ability to climb over high stumps and rocks as well as travelling through deep snow or very wet land.
Travel and working brakes are hydraulically operated oil-immersed multiple disc brakes, identical on both axles. Spring actuated parking and emergency brakes on both front and rear bogies.
Articulated frame steering with two hydraulic steering cylinders. Proportional steering with electrical mini lever. Two electrical steering options and one mechanical.
